March 2 2008  Knight converted this opening try. Man of the Match Rudd had a try disallowed as ref Dawber ruled it came from a forward pass.Finch who enjoyed a good game was the first Haven try scorer taking a pass from that man Rudd. McAvoy then scored as Keighley defences opened at last. Rudd converted and the score stood at 10-6 at half-time. With a bit more fire in their bellies in the second half and Edmondson and McDonald making punchy drives in the centre, it eventually fell to Derry Eilbeck to go over for Haven. Duffy and Eilbeck continued to pair up well as Haven slowly took control. Mattinson soon after powered through for another home try. Despite the gales Rudd converted. Ever reliable Leroy Joe was then fed by Mattinson to score and cheer the Kells enders. Despite a testing first half Adabisi found his form and after one touchdown was disallowed he grabbed a Keighley fumbled gather and sprinted home for a try for Haven.
