New signing Fletcher had a very good game and opened the scoring, with Rudd converting. Then that man Sice, on his 100th outing for the club wriggled and powered through the Lakes defences right under the sticks. The conversion plus a penalty saw it 14-0 at half time. Danny Mills got in after a neat run of play to give the visitors false hopes. Pressure from Haven built at the Kells End and Fletcher went over again after some strange refereeing decisions. But Doncaster battled on with Joe Mbu scoring and Wild Bore converting. But Haven get a firm grip in the Dons half and Scott McAvoy made sure of victory with a superb try.
