Carl Rudd to open the scoring
with a penalty goal.Rudd and Joe proved in good form eventiually
creating the chances for Lester to touch down.
Forward power bulldozed
Batley in the second spell with Neil Baynes, Steve Trindall,
David Fatialofa surging forward.
There hard work enabled
speedy David Seeds to race through, collect and touch down
Rudd landed another penalty to bring up the 14-0 scoreline.
Madden then stole the
ball in a Batley passing moveand scored followed by a Rudd conversion.
In the closing stages Michael Wainwright and Chris Langley went
over for tries and then convert but too late.
