Whitehaven kept
their 100% records intact in LHF Healthplan National League One
after Sunday's fifth round of games.
After
a two week lay off , it could have been a tricky one for the
Haven , however in the final analysis they were brutal in destroying
winning 60-6 at Boundary Park scoring in total 11 tries in their
romp over Oldham.
First half tries from Craig Calvert (two) , Gary Broadbent, David
Seeds, plus three Mick Nanyn goals gave Haven a comforatble 22-6
lead at the half .
After the break the Haven ran away with the game as further scores
came from Mick Nanyn two, Joel Penny, Aaron Lester, Carl Sice,
Howard Hill and Steven Kirkbride also touching down. Two second
half goals from Mick Nanyn and three from Steven Kirkbride completed
the scoring for Haven .
An awesome performance from Haven even taking into the account
the obvious failings of the opposition , everyone in the team
from 1 to 17 contributed though once again the go forward from
the props Baynes , Fatialofa and Summers really laid the foundation
