Well Oiled Machine    Coach McCormack should be well pleased. Hardly a foot wrong by a smooth running Haven side in the opening half. Halifax then had to play much of the contest with only 12 men after Bunyan was red carded for taking out a Haven player off the ball. Among those have a sunny game were Rudd, Nanyn, Baynes , Sice and man of the Match Leroy Joe. In the second spell Halifax tried to stage a come back but even that went pear shaped when Carl Sice intercepted and ran the length of the Recre to score. Tries came from Chambers, Calvert(2), Nanyn, Chambers, Joe, Penny, Sice(2) ... Among those cheering Haven onwards was Labour candidate Jamie Reed.   Cup Result: Wigan 42 Haven 4 (Leroy Joe try)
