Four tries from the ever inventive and quick thinking Leroy Joe. Also tries from Aaron Lester, Darren Holt and newcomer Jamie Stenhouse. Holt kicking five conversions in very blustery conditions. Gate was just under 1,000. Referee: Mark Dawber.

Garry Purdham, was welcomed back after knee surgery. Haven's pack dominated, laying the platform for Joe and Holt to weave their magic.

Swinton had been a bogey team last beat in May 1998.
