Wheelie Bin Battles!

 What Identity Crisis!
The Wild Medieival Bunch

The event in November 2001 was hosted by my Noble Lord David McLee and The Lady Emma Ralls, Landlord and Landlady of the Black Bull.

Visiting knights challenged local teams to joust, using wheelie bins as chargers.

The event could not have taken place without the help and support of Mr W Fox, from Focas who donated the use of the wheelie bins and Mr Simon Ellis from Storeys/Wall to Wall carpets who donated the carpet runways, other wise known as the tourney ring.

Without much damage to life, limb or property the winning team was: Lord Craig Macnally and his squire, Squire Frank McNaughton. who entered dressed as Santa's. The best turned out team was Lord Lee Atkinson and his squire, Squire Lee Cunningham, who entered dressed as very fetching super models.
The challenge has now been issued by Egremonts Wheelie Bin Jousting Champions, Craig and Frank for anyone who thinks they can beat them to turn up to next years event and win the honour of challenging them at the next Wheelie Bin Tourney which is to be held on Sunday 26th May 2002, outside the Black Bull Public House, details of which will be published at a later date.
