Bigrigg Bullets win on penalties

On Saturday 30th June, Copeland Neighbourhood policing team (NPT) held a successful six-a-side football tournament at the Astroturf at Cleator Moor.

Around 35 young people from the Copeland area attended the event with teams from Seascale (‘Shackles Off’ Youth Group), Egremont (Young Cumbria), Cleator Moor (Phoenix Youth Project) and Bigrigg Bullets entering the tournament.

The event was organised by PCSO Reece Watt along with PCSOs Ben Rogerson, Sam Watson, Alan Willison and Jacqui Rafferty from Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team who formed a football team to challenge local youngsters along with Paul Rowe from the Phoenix Youth Project.
