Superb Performances..
Haven 46- Batley Bulldogs 10

The floodgates were opened by Morton in this one way game thatWarren Stevens...the man they find so hard to stop Haven dominated. A never ending stream of ideas and creative passes from Leroy Joe was backed by a team that is total in both defence and attack. Welcome aboard for the Big Fella Warren Stevens(pictured) and Glenn Hutton who had the last Haven try in the dying stages of the second half.

But no surpises for Man of the Match award to David Seeds who made the new record with his 150 th try.

This came after Morton had made a second touchdown. His first had been converted by O'Neill, but the kicker failed to convert Morton's second.

A Mark Wallace try was converted by ONeill to make it 20-0. Batley clawed back one but they could not take anything from Haven who were almost completely error free today.
Dean Vaughan who had a great game then fed to Leroy Joe who calmy (Does he never get ruffled?) scored one and then minutes later thanks to Spence Miller he scored again. Steve Kirkbride converted to settle it at 30-4. Then the moment the Kells and and David Seeds family had been waiting for....

Seeds heads for his record breaker...seconds after this dummy he touched down

It was a ball spun across half the field that eventually found Seeds and he was able to fool the Batley defenders with a dummy before turning to score.

His team mates are also seen congratulating him...
Well done Seedsy!
Kirkbide converted (36-4) then Batley got another consolation that was converted to end their scoring.
Leigh Smith then made a try for Haven which Kirkbride conmverted to bring it to 42-10. The final try from Hutton rounded thing off at 46-10.Morton's second try over Batley
