Improved Rams still bogged
down
Haven 16-Dewsbury 8
Marc Jackson almost had to claw
his way through the mud and the Ram's defences to get the second
half clincher. It was a tough game against an improved Dewsbury
side that had a well drilled defence.
That man Seeds had a first five minutes
fluke when he showed speed and intiative to get a winning touch
to a lucky bounce over the visitor's line.
Soon after Deano made a costly error that allowed the Rams to
stay in touch with the game and make it 4-6.
But five minutes later it was skill from Seeds that created the
chance for a second touch down from a well kicked ball.
Paul O'Neill converted this and the important second half try
from Jacko. Man of the Match was David Seeds.
