What's that Stephen King film title...Misery...well that sums it up. Haven lost, then took the lead..then lost it again. Sadly Jacko was absent through injury and the Batley ground was nicknamed the graveyard...

A first half lead of 14-8 was thrown away by Whitehaven to see Batley win 18-14. Haven try scorers were Howard Hill, Leroy Joe and Jonathan Wignall.
Meanwhile Town were putting 60 0n the board. Significantly Haven were without Jackson.
